Prerelease Events are your first chance to play with the cards from a brand-new set. They're a great way to celebrate a set's release by getting together to crack open some packs, build a deck, and experience what the new cards and mechanics have to offer in a friendly, informal tournament where everybody walks away a winner!
For this Wilds Unknown Prerelease Event, each player will receive an official "Prerelease Pack" at the start of the event. Players will then build a minimum 40-card deck from the contents of the 6 booster packs contained within, which they'll use to compete in a three-round swiss tournament. Unlike with regular core constructed format decks, sealed format decks are not limited to two inks and can include any number of copies of a card they open, so you can play with any cards you want!
Each Wilds Unknown Prerelease Pack will contain the following:
- 6 booster packs from the new set
- 1 of six potential promo cards (1 of each ink type!)
- 1 cardboard deck box
- 4 dice w/ Disney Lorcana icon
- 1 special set-specific item
- 1 rules sheet
Event Structure
- Sealed Format
- 3-Round Swiss Tournament
- 45-minute Deck Building Phase
- Best-of-Three Matches
- 55-minute Rounds
A 45-minute deck-building phase will begin shortly after registration has been completed (at approximately 6:30pm), and will be followed by 3 rounds of best-of-three swiss-paired matches. Prizes will be awarded at the end of the event based on placement, but nobody leaves empty-handed...
All players will receive a minimum of 2 additional Wilds Unknown Booster Packs just for taking part, with even more prize packs being awarded to the Tournament's top contenders!
Terms & Conditions
Full payment of the Entry Fee is required in advance in order to secure your place at the event. Event Entry Fee payments that include retail products as part of the purchase are refundable (less a £0.50 processing fee) where customer cancellation occurs at least 5 days before the event is due to take place. Any cancellations after this time will only be subject to a refund if we can fill your space with another paying customer. If we cannot, you will still be entitled to the goods purchased as part of the event.
