Magic: The Gathering - Tarkir: Dragonstorm Prerelease Event - April 4th

Return to the iconic plane of Tarkir for an epic battle between dragons and clans!
As powerful dragonstorms spiral Tarkir into chaos, and wild dragons darken the skies... the five clans fight alongside their new Spirit Dragons for supremacy over the land!

Prerelease Events are your first chance to play with the cards from a brand-new set! For the whole week before a new set is released, WPN Stores can host Prerelease Events where you'll be able to crack open some packs, build a deck, and try out all the exciting new cards and mechanics in a friendly, informal tournament.

Your Entry Fee includes access to one of the above event dates and a Prerelease Kit containing everything you need to take part!

For Tarkir: Dragonstorm, Prerelease Packs come in five versions (one for each of Tarkir’s clans!) which will be randomly assigned on the day of the event. Players will then be given the option to trade their sealed prerelease packs with each other before the event begins!

Each Tarkir: Dragonstorm Prerelease Pack contains;

• 1 x Tarkir: Dragonstorm Seeded Booster (14 clan-aligned cards including 1 Traditional Foil Rare or Mythic Rare)
• 5 x Tarkir: Dragonstorm Play Boosters
• 1 x Traditional Foil Rare or Mythic Rare
• 1 x clan-aligned deck box
• 1 x clan-aligned Spindown die

Event Structure

• Sealed Deck Format
• 3-Round Swiss Tournament
• 50-minute Deck Building Phase
• Best-of-Three Matches
• 50-minute Rounds

For each event, Deck building will begin shortly after registration has been completed (at approximately 6:30pm), and be followed by 3 rounds of best-of-three swiss paired matches! Prizes will be awarded at the end of each event based on Tournament Standings, but nobody will leave empty-handed...

Every participant will receive a minimum of 1 additional Aetherdrift Play Booster just for taking part, with even more prize packs being awarded to the Tournament's top contenders!

Terms & Conditions

Full payment of the Entry Fee is required in advance in order to secure your place at the event. Event Entry Fee payments that include retail products as part of the purchase are refundable (less a £0.50 processing fee) where customer cancellation occurs at least 7 days before the event is due to take place. Any cancellations after this time will only be subject to a refund if we can fill your space with another paying customer. If we cannot, you will still be entitled to the goods purchased as part of the event.
