Take your first step on the path to the MTG Pro Tour! The winner of this Regional Championship Qualifier will receive an invitation to compete in the upcoming European Magic Series Regional Championship in Bologna, Italy!

Event Structure

  • Standard Constructed Format
  • 5-Round Swiss Tournament
  • Best-of-Three Matches
  • 50-minute Rounds
  • Top Cut; 3-Round Single Elimination

This tournament will be following the Competitive Rules enforcement structure, which means decklists will be required. A printed decklist must be submitted to a tournament official before the start of the first round. Random deck checks will be performed throughout the event at the discretion of tournament officials.

The tournament will begin at 10:30am, and comprise of 5 rounds of best-of-three swiss paired matches. At approximately 4:00pm, the Top Cut will be announced. Those who make the top cut will go on to play a further 3 rounds of untimed best-of-three single-elimination matches to determine an overall winner!

Prizes

Every participant will receive an exclusive Mayhem Devil Promo Card regardless of placement, with even more prizes being awarded to the Tournament's top contenders!

The Top 16 will also receive Force of Despair Promo Card (with a foil version going to the winner!), and a prize pool of 2.5 Play Booster Prize Packs per player will be distributed among the tournaments Top 8!

Please note: the Prize Pack allocation shown above is dependent on full attendance.

Useful Information

  • Outside food and drink is not permitted (with the exception of home-bottled water), however, food and drink can be purchased at the cafe as usual.
  • There will be a 30 minute lunch break between the 2nd and 3rd rounds (from approximately 12:30pm until 1:00pm), and lunch pre-orders will be served during this interval.

  • We will be using the MTG Companion App to organise the event. If you do not have access to the app, please let a member of the event team know and they can sign you up manually.
  • If for any reason you need to remain at the same table for the duration of the event, please let staff know before the event starts and they will do their best to accommodate this.
  • Please note filming and/or photography may take place during the event. If you have any issue with this please let us know on the day before the event starts.

Terms & Conditions

Full payment of the Event Entry Fee is required in advance in order to secure your place at the event. Event Entry Fee payments are refundable (less a £0.50 processing fee) where customer cancellation occurs at least 7 days before the event is due to take place. Any cancellations after this time will only be subject to a refund if we can fill your space with another paying customer.
