Demeter

In Demeter, you play as a scientist on a mission to Demeter 1... one of Demeter's two planets, in order to observe and study the dinosaur species found there!

This is a flip & write game (that takes place in the same universe as the worker placement game Ganymede) in which'll you'll construct observation posts, recruit other scientists, and progress your research in order to better understand these species within their natural environment!

A game of Demeter lasts 12 rounds, and in each round players complete te following 3 steps: Reveal one card from each of the 5 decks, choose to trigger the action of one of the 5 revealed cards, and earn the bonus corresponding to the color of the chosen card.

The game ends at the end of the 12th round, and players score Mission Points in several categories: species fully discovered, diversity of species discovered, scientific objectives, quality of observation, number of scientists recruited, and dinosaurs studied!

The player with the most Mission Points wins the game!
